Torchlight Parade and Fireworks under the stars - Saturday, January 18, 2025

The Schweitzer Mountain Community Association presents the Northern Lights parade and fireworks show! We will be starting at 6:00pm with a torchlight parade down Jam Session, followed by a fireworks show in the village, then music and partying at Taps afterwards.

Night Skiing tickets for MLK weekend cannot be purchased in advance and the Own the Night rate will be unavailable. Twilight Tickets will ONLY be available to purchase on-mountain for $40 at the ticket window!

The torchlight parade has space for 60 people. If you are an intermediate (or above) skier or snowboarder, we would love to have you join the parade! To join, you must follow a few rules:

• Must be 18 years old or older and sign a release form

• Must have a valid lift ticket or season pass

• Visibly intoxicated people will not be allowed to participate
  

Torches will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis at 5:00pm at the Schweitzer tent, which will be set up in the Village. Remember, you must sign a liability release form and provide a valid ID. If you are 21 or over, you will receive a free drink coupon for Taps Lounge that you can use after the parade. If you are under 21, you will get a soda coupon redeemable in the Lakeview Café or Sam's Alley! Parade participants will load the chair immediately after a 5:30pm meeting at the Clock Tower. The torches throw a lot of sparks that can burn holes in equipment, so bring old gear/clothing, and don't forget the eye protection too! But most importantly, let's have fun!
