Single- and Multi-Day Lift Ticket Details
Lift ticket validity:
Single-day lift tickets are valid on the day you select. Multi-day lift tickets are valid for consecutive days starting on the day you select.
6 and under lift tickets:
Tickets for children 6 and under are only available at the window.
Lift ticket price changes:
Lift ticket prices can change based on seasonality and/or availability.
Lift ticket pick-up:
Pick up your pre-purchased lift tickets at any of our kiosks! There are three ticket boxes located outside the Activity Center near Gourmandie, the Ski & Ride Center, and the Lakeview Lodge. Still need to purchase your tickets? Purchase online or visit Guest Services in the Lakeview Lodge!

Schweitzer Local Passes provide unlimited access to our slopes any day of the week, with no blackout dates or restrictions. Pass Holders also enjoy benefits, including resort discounts and reciprocal access at select regional winter destinations.

How to upload your pass photo and sign your waiver:
If you still need to upload your pass photo and sign your waiver, log in to your profile via the Ikon Pass website. Completing this allows you to skip the ticket line and head straight to the lift. For Schweitzer season pass holders, please visit the season pass and ticket office.

- Valid for Basin Express and Creekside Express high-speed quads, and the Musical Carpet lift from 3:00pm - 7:00pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and select holidays. Enjoy great skiing and riding in the Stomping Grounds Terrain Park as well as beginner terrain off the Musical Chairs lift.
- Twilight tickets valid Dec. 26 – Dec. 31 & Fridays and Saturdays through Mar. 1, plus Jan. 19 & Feb. 16
- Blackout dates for online tickets: January 13 and February 18, 2025, February 25, 2025.
Own the Night lift tickets and non-profit support:
Schweitzer supports youth participation in outdoor recreation through the Own the Night program. Your purchase of a $20 Own the Night Lift Ticket online sends $10 directly to community partners providing scholarships for youth outdoor programs through NIMSEF, YMCA, and Sandpoint Parks & Recreation.
Valid every Twilight skiing night except for Jan. 18 & Feb. 16 (fireworks/ Event).Pre-purchased online benefitting 3 local non-profits. Blackouts on the fireworks nights. Regular twilight tickets available to purchase at mountain.

Share Schweitzer with friends and family at a discounted rate this winter. Ikon Pass and Schweitzer Season Pass holders can give the gift of 25% off regular-priced lift tickets.
- To redeem discounts online, you must do so at least 24 hours in advance.
- Pass Holders can log into their ikonpass.com profile to email your voucher.
How do I redeem Friends and Family Tickets?
You can purchase your tickets online or in person. Please visit our Ikon Pass Friends and Family page for complete online booking instructions. Ikon Pass Friends & Family Tickets do not sell out.

Group Lessons FAQ
When should I plan to arrive for my lesson?
Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of your or your child's lesson. All group lessons meet at the Ski & Ride School Meeting Area sign near Creekside Express.
Where do I pick up my or my child's lift ticket and rentals?
Pre-purchased lift tickets and rentals can be picked up at the Ski & Ride Center, across from the Lakeview Lodge. If you need to purchase tickets, head over to Guest Services at the Lakeview Lodge! Complete this at least one hour before your lesson. Holidays and weekends may require more time.
What should I wear?
Here are some quick tips to help you have a smooth day.
- Warm Layers:
Wear a base layer (like long underwear), a mid-layer (thermal sweatshirt), and a warm, waterproof down jacket on top. - Snow Pants:
Even on warm days, wear waterproof pants. - Sun & Eye Protection:
The snow can reflect the sun, which can damage your eyes or cause sunburn. Bring sunscreen and wear goggles or UV-protected sunglasses. - Extremity Protection:
Wear gloves and warm socks. We also recommend hand/toe warmers. - Off The Snow:
Wear a helmet on snow, but consider wearing a winter hat and sunglasses before and after the lesson
We do not provide food during lessons.
Are lift tickets and rentals included with my lesson?
No. lessons do not include lift tickets or equipment.
Can I tip my instructor?
Instructors do not expect tips, but they always appreciate them.
What if I need a break?
Take a break whenever you need. If you need more breaks than those allotted for the group, simply inform the instructor and determine a meeting point so you don't lose them. Your instructor will notify you about restroom locations at the beginning of the lesson.

Funatics:
Skiers and snowboarders ages 7-14 will develop their abilities all while creating memories on the mountain in this eight-week program. Skiers should be making parallel turns and snowboarders should be linking turns on beginner trails.
As part of Schweitzer's eight-week Funatics program, participants will be grouped by ability level and maintain the same groups and coaches throughout the season. Sessions take place from 9:00pm - 3:00pm on Saturdays or Sundays. Program begins Jan. 4, 2025 and goes until Mar. 8, 2025 with no classes on MLK or Presidents' Weekends. Funatics includes coaching, a Schweitzer season pass, public race course privileges, and gear check.
Mountain Xplorers
Skiers ages 6-13 who have advanced beyond green terrain are invited to participate in this flexible multi-week program. Participants will ski or ride with the similar group of kids and coaches each session, giving them consistency and a chance to make new friends.
MtnX includes up to 40 days of instruction, a Schweitzer season pass, public race course privileges, and gear check. Parents will receive a link to sign up for as many sessions they want on a monthly basis. We offer a variety of sessions morning and afternoon on weekends and holidays. The program begins Dec. 21, 2024 and runs through Mar. 23, 2025 with additional days during winter break (Dec. 26 - Jan. 1) as well as Presidents Day and MLK Jr. Day.
Sessions are held every Saturday and Sunday.
- Morning sessions take place from 9:00pm- 11:30pm
- Afternoon sessions take place from 12:30pm - 3:00pm
Nice Turns:
This adult program builds upon a foundation of skiing knowledge and know-how. With small group sizes ranging from four to eight participants, get one-on-one coaching and refine your skills each week while meeting new ski buddies.
Each group meets one day a week for three hours over the course of six weeks at the Private Lesson meeting area.
Each class must have a minimum of four people.
Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm

Locker Information
Free locker information:
There are free cubbies located in the Lakeview Lodge.
Day locker information:
Day lockers are available to rent in both the Lakeview Lodge and the Ski & Ride Center.
Schweitzer offers two seasonal locker options:
Lakeview Lodge: Located on the lower level of Lakeview Lodge.
Premier Lockers: Located on the ground level of Selkirk Lodge, available in two-person and four-person options.
Lockers are available for use from November 11, 2024, through April 19, 2025, for convenient snow equipment storage and slope access.
Locker Guidelines:
You are responsible for any equipment stored in the locker. Permanent fixtures, mounts, or modifications are not allowed.
Lakeview Lockers: You must provide your own lock.
Premier Lockers: You must manage the Schweitzer-issued RFID keys to lock and unlock your locker.
End-of-Season Procedures: Remove all equipment and locks by April 19, 2025, to avoid any loss. Schweitzer Public Safety will donate any remaining equipment to local charities after this date.
Terms and Conditions:
Schweitzer is not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen items. Schweitzer Public Safety will monitor the locker area, but renters are encouraged to maintain their lockers and keep exterior surfaces free of posters, stickers, or other attachments. Locker privileges may be revoked without refund due to damage or inappropriate behavior. For any concerns, please contact Guest Services. All seasonal lockers are reserved for the 2024/2025 season.
