You will need to bring your lift ticket or season pass, skis and poles or snowboard, and proper clothing. And don't forget to bring the excitement!
What Should I Wear?
Be sure to check the weather and the Mountain Report page to adequately prepare for your day on the slopes. The most important thing for skiing and riding is to dress in layers. You can always adjust during the day! Wear your base layers (preferably no cotton), mid layers, waterproof outer layers, warm gloves, a helmet, goggles, and a face mask. If it's your first time on the mountain, you can also check out our First Timers Guide!
When And Where To Arrive?
Lesson participants will meet their instructors at the Ski & Ride School Meeting Area, located near the clock tower in the village, 10 minutes prior to the lesson time. If you need rental equipment, please arrive at the Ski & Ride Center at least 1 hour prior to your lesson. We also recommend you allow 20 minutes for parking and shuttle services.

What Ski Lesson Should I Book?
Learn to Turn Lessons
Our Learn to Turn Lessons are designed for those who are hitting the slopes for the very first time or needing some extra assistance on the Musical Carpet! This class is designed to help you learn the basics you'll need to continue practicing even after your lesson is over!
Basic Turns Lessons
The Basic Turns Lessons are for beginner skiers who are able to stop and turn in both directions across the hill in a wedge or a "pizza"! This class is for those who may have been out riding a few times and are ready to continue fine tuning their turns, maintain balance, and work their way up to parallel turns.
Beginning Parallel
This class is exactly what it sounds like, you're ready for parallel skiing! This means you've graduated from the wedge or "pizza" skiing and are ready to start perfecting your parallel abilities, controlling your speed, and working up to other terrain like Midway off the Basin Express.
