KinderKamp is a seasonal childcare program offered for children between the ages of 4 months to 6 years. All of our professional staff are certified to ensure the safest environment for your little ones. In addition, KinderKamp is committed to a low child-to-caregiver ratio that assures full attention to your child with a variety of engaging activities including arts and crafts, music, games, and even on-snow play time.Winter 2024/25 Rates
KinderKamp is open daily from 8:00am - 4:00pm during the winter season. Reservations must be made in advance as space is limited.

What's included in KinderKamp childcare?
Let our professional day care staff take care of everything. From infants, toddlers and more, Schweitzer's childcare facility provides quality, fun, and adventure. Age-appropriate lunch and snacks are provided with all childcare options if applicable. Go on, enjoy the slopes; we're having fun at KinderKamp! Prices above do not include lessons, please see link above for lesson package options. Reservations required.
What is the KinderKamp Childcare cancellation policy?
For a full refund, we need at least 48 hours notice to cancel.
What are drop off and pick up times?
Doors open at 8:00am, for full day options and morning half day options, please drop off no later than 11:00am. If taking lessons, please drop off at least 1 hour prior to lesson start time.
Where is KinderKamp Childcare located?
The Children's Center is locate on the lower level of the Lakeview Lodge. You can enter from the exterior stairs or enter on the main floor and take the stairs inside.
Do I need to bring anything to KinderKamp Childcare for my kid?
For children ages 3+ and/or taking a lesson, please be sure to pack warm, waterproof outdoor appropriate clothing such as a jacket, snow pants, gloves, balaclava, non-cotton ski socks, an under layer and a backup set of gloves and socks if able. For children still in diapers/pull-ups/potty training, please pack toileting needs such as diapers, wipes, spare change(s) of clothes, diaper cream, etc. For infants and young children unable to eat most solid foods yet, please bring food items such as pureed foods, snacks, formula/breast milk, bottles and any additional needs such as a binky or lovey. We understand how much it takes to pack for these little ones, so we do have backup supplies if needed such as blankets and borrow wear, as well as retail items like gloves, socks, balaclavas, goggles and hot hands for sale if an item has been forgotten. We also rent ski equipment on site if the car is too packed to add another set of skis.
What certifications and licenses do you have?
All Children's Center staff have state issued background clearances, CPR and First Aid training, and are equipped to ensure top safety concerns for this age group.
What if my child has an Allergy or Dietary Restrictions?
Although are staff are unable to administer medications, we take allergies very seriously and will collect all pertinent information to help mitigate any potential exposure. Please let us know if your child has an Allergy, Dietary Restrictions, or Special Needs to accommodate and we will work together to best meet their needs.
