What is free during Kids Free Ski Week?
Up to seven single à la carte lift tickets are available for kids 17 and under from Dec. 7 through Dec. 13, 2024.
What if I already purchased a kids’ lift ticket for Dec. 7-13, 2024?
Your lift tickets will be refunded, including lift tickets purchased as part of a package. Please reach out to Schweitzer Reservations at (833) 854-7669.
Do the free kid lift tickets require the purchase of an adult lift ticket?
No.
What happens if I use my Ikon Pass accidentally and scan a day instead of a free kids’ lift ticket?
If you have used your Ikon Pass at a limited access destination and use one of your 5 or 7 limited days, please contact the Ikon Pass Contact Center and they will reverse the access day.
Can I take advantage of the free kids’ lift tickets if I have an Ikon Pass?
Yes! If you decide to use a free lift ticket at an Ikon Pass destination where you have limited access (5 or 7 days), be mindful to remove the Ikon Pass from your child’s pocket and use the new lift ticket instead.
Is the age of the child based on the age of purchase or the age of the ski date?
The free child ticket age is based on the day of purchase.
Can I get multiple Kids Ski Free Week lift tickets at a time?
You may purchase multi-day lift tickets for your adult family members, however the free kids lift tickets will be given as individual day tickets and not a multi-day product.
Is A-Basin included in Kids Ski Free Week?
A-Basin is not included in the Kids Ski Free Week at this time.

From December 7 through 13, 2024, kids (12 yrs. and under, except 17 yrs. and under at Stratton Mountain and Schweitzer) ski free at participating Alterra Mtn Co destinations.
Limit one (1) à la carte lift ticket per day for each eligible child at participating Alterra Mtn Co destinations. À la carte lift tickets only valid for use between December 7 and 13, 2024.
Participating destinations include: Steamboat and Winter Park in Colorado; Palisades Tahoe, Mammoth Mountain, Big Bear Mountain Resort and Snow Valley in California; Stratton Mountain and Sugarbush Resort in Vermont; Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia; Crystal Mountain in Washington; Schweitzer in Idaho; Deer Valley Resort and Solitude Mountain Resort in Utah; Tremblant in Quebec and Blue Mountain in Ontario, Canada.
To redeem an offer, visit participating destination’s official website or visit guest services at participating destination.
Offer is subject to the participating destination being open for the 24/25 winter season or if the destination reaches capacity limits.
