Schweitzer Activity Center

Need dinner reservations? Not sure where to snowshoe? Want to find out about the latest events in the village or in Sandpoint? Or how about a game for an impromptu family night? Or book your kids into Kids Night Out?

Let our friendly staff at Schweitzer's Activity Center lend a hand! Located on the lower level of Humbird, below Crow's Bench, the Activity Center is your one-stop shop for answers about all the variety of activities available on the mountain. 

The Activity Center is open daily during the winter season from 8:00am - 4:00pm with additional hours during the holidays. Stop on by or feel free to give them a call at 208.255.3081.

March Madness Baskets & Ballers

March Madness is in full swing and Schweitzer is bringing you a taste of that fun and excitement! Every Saturday and Sunday starting March 2nd, find our Village Ambassadors in the village and test your aim for a chance to win a small prize and get a free Schweitzer sticker!

Then join us in the Activity Center any day of the week and either test your own aim or compete against your friends in a variety of fun games with our indoor two player dual shot basketball arcade shooter!

Outdoor hoop: Make 5 shots in a row or 3 shots in a row with your ski/board on and win a prize!

  • Location: Near the Clock Tower
  • When: Saturday and Sunday from 10 am-12:30 pm
  • Price: FREE!

Indoor hoops: Compete against your friends in a variety of fun games or test your own aim!

  • When: Every day from 8 am-3:30 pm
  • Location: Activity Center
  • Price: FREE!

Games:

  • POWDER (just like HORSE but with snow!)
  • Trick Shot Shoot Out: Who can create (and make) the best trick shot?
  • Who can make the most shots in 1 minute?

Winners of these games can also win a prize if they make enough shots! (See Activity Center for prize levels.)

Here's a list of other great things available to our guests through the Activity Center: 

  • Village Campfires: Bring a hot chocolate and cozy up to your pal around the village campfire Saturday afternoons at 3pm on the Lakeview Patio. There will be treats to roast at no charge. (While supplies last!) 

  • Frozen Bubble Fun: Some people want to stay inside when it's cold, but not the Activity Center staff. Any day the temperature drops below 20 degrees, come by and make frozen bubbles!

  • Photo Scavenger Hunt: Looking for a fun, easy and free activity? Stop by the Activity Center with your camera and we'll send you out on an adventure. Go home with amazing photos of your visit to Schweitzer. This is not your usual scavenger hunt.... don't miss out!

  • The Great Beer Blast (over 21 fun): Get ready to explore what Schweitzer Mountain Resort has to offer in 5+ of our fabulous adult beverage locations. This beer scavenger hunt will help you explore locations on the hill and in the village. Stop by the activity center to learn more about the beer scavenger hunt.

  • Game of Gnar: Test your awesomeness against your friends in this simple gnar challenge. Earn the most points to win and take the bragging rights of being the gnarliest ride in your group.

  • Do All the Runs Challenge: So may runs, so little time! How many different runs can you do this winter? Challenge yourself to ski every run at Schweitzer and track your progress as you go.

  • Treasure Hunt: Get your first clue in the Activity Center. You'll wander the Schweitzer Village on this super fun treasure hunt until you find a prize at the end. 

  • Crafts To Go: Choose from a variety of projects to grab and go. We'll lend you scissors, glue, or whatever else you may need. Prices vary.

  • Party Pails: Need some evening fun to take to your room or condo? Let us set you up with one of our three themed Party Pails: Nintendo Wii, Indooor Energy Busters, or Craft Time. Prices vary.
