Opening for the season Saturday, November 25

Despite our best efforts in snowmaking over the last week, the warm and wet conditions of early November, combined with recent temperature fluctuations, have compelled us push back our Opening Day to Saturday, November 25. This extra day allows our dedicated team to enhance the skiing and riding experience by providing an additional 24 hours for snowmaking on Midway.   

Schweitzer will open for the 2023/24 winter season on Saturday, November 25 at 9:00am and will continue to operate daily, conditions permitting. 

Key Details for Opening Day, Saturday November 25: 

• Operating Hours: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm 

• Terrain: Midway trail only, accessed by Basin Express quad. (Please stay on the groomed trail) There will be no beginner terrain available at this time.  

• Lift Tickets: Lift tickets will be available for purchase on-site at a discounted rate of $50. 

• Dining: Various Schweitzer dining outlets are open now, including Crow’s Bench and Gourmandie, with more coming online starting with the Chimnry Rock Grill on Friday November 24 and Taps on Saturday & Sunday.

• Friday, Guest Services will be open 9am - 4pm the Activity Center will be open 8am - 4pm for any season pass / waiver issues. On Saturday, they both plan to open at 7:30am (as well as the Ski & Ride Center).
