Movies on the Mountain

The days are warm and the nights are clear. After all the running around, adventures, and fun during the day an easy night with friends and good company sounds just right, doesn't it?

Movies on the Mountain are free outdoor events taking place every Friday night in August. Join us on the lawn outside the Crow's Bench each Friday at twilight(around 8:00pm-8:45pm) for movies, laughter, and fun!

• August 2: When your house begins to float into the sky, best call the boy scouts! (Rated PG, 1h 36m)
• August 9: Come join us for popcorn, laughter, and the Bare Necessities. (Rated G, 1h 18m)
• August 16: These aren't the droids you're looking for, but this is the movie you're looking for! (Rated PG, 2h 01m)
• August 23: Join us for our final Movie on the Mountain and discover why Ohana means family. (Rated PG, 1h 25m)

This is a free event and does not require signing up in advance.

Fresh popcorn will be available for $1 per bag. There will be some other snacks and drinks available for cash purchase but your are also welcome to bring any snacks and any non-alcoholic drinks your may want! *Any alcohol consumed at Schweitzer must be purchased from a Schweitzer outlet such as the Crow's Bench restaurant, Gourmandie, or The Market*

There will be some seating available but it is recommended that you bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. It is also recommended that you dress warmly becasue although it is summer, we are still up in the mountains!
